I sculpt, print and paint miniatures. I'm building a mech game in my spare hours, and I write software for engineers, builders and students. It doesn't all fit neatly together, so there are three doors below. Pick the one you came for.

The one person

Hi, I'm JohnsonB.

By day I'm an engineer working on safety-critical systems. At night I'm usually at the painting desk; the shelves behind me are the proof. I wrote the engineering apps because I was sick of chasing paperwork at the end of projects. The revision site started when my daughter had a Biology exam. The game is the one I always wanted to play and nobody had made.

Terrain bundle · atelier

Eight Aztec-style temples and houses for 25 to 32 mm tables, ready to print at home. I also made magnet bases and toppers in nine sizes to go with them.

How I work

The same habits at every desk

Do it properly

Every print gets cleaned, cured and checked before it goes in the box. The engineering apps ask for exactly what an auditor will ask for. It's the same fussiness either way.

Your data is yours

My apps save to your device and work offline. This site doesn't use cookies, and I don't track you or sell anything about you.

Give credit

I link to the official standards instead of copying them, and I credit the curriculum bodies. LanceDeck uses the game art already on your computer.

Straight answers

You email me and I answer, and the prices are upfront. If something is still a prototype, I'll say so.
