The apps came first. For years I watched engineering projects drift away from the paperwork that was meant to prove they'd been done right, and I got tired of chasing it at the end. The Cycle puts the V-model back on screen and asks for the evidence as you go. The Site is the same idea, pointed at a house build.
The miniatures were what kept me sane through all that. I sculpted characters and bits of terrain, printed them in resin and painted them late at night. I put a few files on Cults3D, people actually printed them, and that's how the atelier happened.
The Learning Cycle started because my daughter had a Biology exam coming up. I wrote her one revision course. There are seventy-seven now, and they're free because helping kids revise was the whole reason I started.
The games are my late-night stuff. LanceDeck exists because the MechWarrior Online scoreboard annoyed me. MECHFALL is the mech game I've wanted to play for years. It's slowly turning into something.
